So, summer has arrived and so have the trips to the lake!! The old trailer is looking a bit shabby but you really don’t want to have it completely re-painted or possibly even powder-coated again. What can you do to spruce it up? If touch-up is the game plan, I suggest using our Type 27 flap disks available for both the 4″ and 4 1/2″ right angle grinders. The flap disks are designed for applications ranging from heavy stock removal to surface blending. They are available in a grit range from 36 grit to 120 grit. Their tough construction allows for aggressive edge grinding. They also achieve a consistent performance as the individual flaps are designed to wear away evenly and present a constantly fresh working surface. To sum up, our flap disks are best used for grinding and polishing of metal, blending welds and other metal finishing. Go for it!

STEEL TARIFFS….UGHHHH. So … Here’s what we know so far …. At this point in time, it does not appear that the tariffs will be applicable to finished products like screws, bolts etc. The initial interpretation is leading us to believe that it will be more aimed at things like sheets of steel, columns, pipe etc.  So, we are definitely praying that this be the case.  In the event that we are wrong, we have a plan !!!   Due to the extremely large undertaking it would be to launch a massive price change, only to have to change it again if and when the tariff is lifted or changed ……… we will simply add a “Tariif” tax to the import products only, as the domestic products we carry obviously aren’t subject to the tariff. We will see!

 

 

Good news! We will be open normal hours (8am-3pm) on Friday March 30 for Good Friday. The really Good News? Romans 5:8 “But God demonstrates His own love towards us , in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

Steve Gregg, bible teacher and radio host of The Narrow Path, was visiting the Phoenix area over the holiday weekend and stopped by to do his radio show from our store.
