STEEL TARIFFS….UGHHHH. So … Here’s what we know so far …. At this point in time, it does not appear that the tariffs will be applicable to finished products like screws, bolts etc. The initial interpretation is leading us to believe that it will be more aimed at things like sheets of steel, columns, pipe etc. So, we are definitely praying that this be the case. In the event that we are wrong, we have a plan !!! Due to the extremely large undertaking it would be to launch a massive price change, only to have to change it again if and when the tariff is lifted or changed ……… we will simply add a “Tariif” tax to the import products only, as the domestic products we carry obviously aren’t subject to the tariff. We will see!
